On April 18, Senior Beta Sponsor, Mrs. LeAnna Hall took a few of her club members to State Convention in Orlando to compete in various competitions.
Among them, Ryan Wood participated in the Social Studies Test, Albert Varnum took on the Math Test, Brett Floyd entered the photography still/black and white and color competition and took the Science Test, and Rebekah Wiltse entered the Stitchery Competition (placing 1st) and also participated in the English Test.
Rebekah’s cup and saucer pictured is made from pine straw. She learned this technique from her grandmother, Beulah Headings who teaches classes on how to make the baskets. Rebekah enjoys spending time with her grandparents and picking up various hobbies from them, including this one that she was able to enter into a competition.
