Roland Wayne Roop, 43, Sales Manager at Proctor Honda, died Sunday, April 18, 2010, in Tallahassee.
Roland was born December 15, 1966, in Radford, Virginia, to Jack and Virginia Roop. He was raised in Chistiansburg, Virginia, and moved from there to Tallahassee in 2001. He received his MBA in 1992 from Radford College in Virginia. He was also a member of the Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More.
He is survived by his wife, Meredith Trammell Roop, of Tallahassee; three children, Mirabella Emile Roop, Ava-Kay Cecilia Roop and Jack-Douglas Trammell Roop, all of Tallahassee; his mother, Virginia Roop, of Christiansburg; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Kay Trammell, also of Tallahassee; and a brother-in-law, Douglas Trammell, of New Orleans.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. CDT (11 a.m. EDT) at Atkins Cemetery in Blountstown. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, EDT, Friday, April 23, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 2200 North Meridian Road in Tallahassee.
