Vona Whitfield Barfield Parrish, 89, of Sneads, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010, in Sneads.
She was a retired nurse and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Hayes and Douglas Barfield, and a daughter, Patsy Ann Morris.
Survivors include three daughters, Diane Brandhuber and her husband, Harold, of Jacksonville, Florida, Nell Messinger of Orlando, Florida, and Tammy Farris and her husband, Ronald, of Sneads; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 31, with Reverend Jack Howell officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank NHC Homecare and Covenant Hospice for their care and concern.
