A Marianna teen was fortunate to walk away from a single vehicle crash in the early morning hours Sunday with only minor injuries.
Dakota Partin, 19, was behind the wheel of the truck shown above when he slammed into a tree on Hwy. 71 North near CR 275 in Calhoun County around 3:45 a.m. He reportedly left the scene of the accident, but was found to be in good condition.
“He was very lucky,” his mother, Rebecca Partin, tells The County Record. “He broke his nose and had some scratches.”
The accident was investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol.
