Mrs. Bobbie Lou Williams, 98, of Blountstown, FL, passed away Friday, December 4, 2009, in Tallahassee.

Mrs. Williams was born on July 3, 1911 in Headland, AL, and had lived in Graceville for several years before moving to Blountstown in 1971. Bobbie Lou was a homemaker and a very active member of the United Methodist Church in Blountstown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Williams, amd a daughter, Frankie Lou Williams.

Survivors include one son, Davis Wilson Williams, and his wife, Peggy, of Crawfordville; six grandchildren, Sharon Bush and her husband, Rick, of Bonifay, Lynn Williams Lynn and her husband, Andy, of Wakulla Station, Donna Clark and her husband, Lindell, of Sopchoppy, Sandy Register and her husband, Mike, of Crawfordville, Eddie Shiflet and his wife, Jo, of Louisville, KY, Dorenda Hunt of Frankfort, KY; 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 7, at 2:00 p.m. (CT) at the Blountstown United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Warren and Rev. Charles Smith officiating. Interment followed in the Nettle Ridge Cemetery in Blountstown. Serving as pallbearers for Mrs. Williams were her great-grandsons, Shane Bush, Patrick Bush, Britt Bush, all of Bonifay, Cole Oliver, John Landrum, both of Crawfordville, and Heath Clark of Sopchoppy.

All arrangements were under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown (ph. 850-674-2266).
