An Altha woman and her nephew were treated at Bay Medical Center Monday afternoon following a two vehicle crash on Macedonia Church Road.
Karen Hansford and Andy Neel were in her SUV when the driver of another vehicle, identity unknown at press time, reportedly ran a stop sign causing Hansford to t-bone his vehicle. There were several concerns raised and unanswered questions about the other driver at press time Tuesday morning. The County Record is waiting on a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol and will update in next week’s edition.
Hansford thanked God for taking the wheel. “It could have been a lot worse,” she remarked in a Facebook post. “In a split second, it happened.”
Hansford extended her appreciation to Calhoun EMS for their quick response.
