Mrs. Earlene Cain, age 86, of Blountstown, FL passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in Blountstown, FL.

Earlene was born on May 20, 1928 in Jackson County, FL and had lived in Calhoun County all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Protestant Faith. Earlene was preceded in death by her husband, John Medford Cain, 2 brothers, Cecil and Hershall Bennett, 1 sister, Beatrice Taylor.

Survivors include,

1 son, David Cain of Blountstown, FL

3 daughters, Linda Stewart and her husband, Michael of Tampa, FL
Joan Sheppard and her husband, Kenneth of Clarksville, FL
Carolyn Nobles and her husband, Joey of Bristol, FL

3 brothers, Hasten Bennett of Blountstown, FL
Wane Bennett and his wife, Dorothy of Texas
Steve Bennett and his wife, Pat of Texas

3 sisters, Virginia Peterson and her husband, Russell of Blountstown, FL
Vivian Guilford and her husband, Gene of Panama City, FL
Elizabeth Bennett of Southport, FL

8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown. Interment will follow in Nettle Ridge Cemetery in Blountstown. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 6:00 pm (CDT) until 8:00 pm (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
