Don’t miss GOAT DAY 2009 as the Blountstown Rotary Club presents the 23rd annual festival on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Sam Atkins Park in Blountstown.

This year’s event will feature our favorite vendors from years past and also new first-time vendors specializing in handmade goods and crafts. A highlight will be the reintroduction of live goats into the mix with a GOAT SHOW AND PARADE! In addition, there will be plenty of food vendors and live music throughout the day. The Panhandle Pioneer Settlement will be offering tours and demonstrations.

Gates open at 9 a.m. and vendors will be present until 3 p.m. Cost: $5 per person with children under 1 admitted free. All children’s activities will be free including pony rides, train rides, inflatable jumping activities, coin dig, greased pig chase, chicken chase, moon walk, and more sponsored by Preble-Rish.

how come the CONservatives have to ruin goat day for everybody and set up their girly tea party stand

Why do querulous liberals possess such delicate sensibilities that no more than a single booth at such a large event could in fact "ruin" it for them?

The cavilous nature of your protest might impress upon one that indeed it is not the "tea party stand" which deserves the title of "girly"...but you.
