Mrs. Mary Jean Creamer, 73, of Altha, FL, passed away early Tuesday morning, October 15, 2013, in Blountstown, FL.

Mary was born on November 2, 1939, in Altha and had lived here all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Altha Methodist Church where she played the piano for 17 years. Mary also played with the Branton Quartet for over 20 years. She was a 1957 graduate of Altha High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Glenn Creamer; parents, Bill and Mary Bowden; brother, Packwood Bowden; and a granddaughter, Kelly White.

Survivors include three sons, Derrick Creamer, of Altha, Keith Creamer and his wife, Athena, of Panama City, FL, Clark Creamer and his wife, Julie, of Ocala, FL; a daughter, Anne Murray, of Cannonburg, PA; a brother, Billy Bowden, and his wife, Bobbie Ann, of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, June Smith, and her husband, Glenn, of Altha; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held Friday, October 18, at 11:00 am (CDT) at the Altha Methodist Church with Reverend Jim Harbert, Sister Martha Hyles and Reverend Jim McIntosh officiating. Interment followed in Victory Hill Cemetery near Altha.

All arrangements were under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown (ph. 674-2266).
