Mrs. Bobbie Husband, 80, of Wewahitchka, FL, passed away early Monday morning, July 22, 2013, in Panama City, FL.
Bobbie was born on February 1, 1933, in Wewahitchka and had lived there most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Husband, and a sister, Opal Stevens.
Survivors include one son, Thomas Bruce Husband, and his wife, Carolyn, of Wewahitchka; one daughter, Linda Joyce Husband, of Wewahitchka; one brother, Thomas Ford, and his wife, Cookie, of Jacksonville; one sister, Ann Suber, and her husband, Billy, of Wewahitchka; four grandchildren, William Todd Lawrence, Laura Suber, Sarah Lawrence, and Taylor Husband; three great-grandchildren, Laila Suber, Pierce Lawrence and Landon Suber.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, July 24, at 2:00 pm (CDT) from the graveside at Jehu Cemetery in Wewahitchka with Reverend Derrick Gerber officiating. Entombment will follow. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 6:00 pm (CDT) until 8:00 pm (CDT) at the Home of Bruce Husband, 1010 Old Dairy Farm Road, Wewahitchka, FL 32365. The family request in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your favorite charity of choice. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
