Mr. Johnnie Franklin Jeter, 62, of Blountstown, FL, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013, in Panama City, FL.
Franklin was born on June 15, 1950, in Grand Ridge, FL, and had lived in Blountstown since 2000. He was a small engine repairman by trade and was a member of the Holiness faith.
Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Johnny Mae Jeter; and two brothers, Wayne Thomas Jeter and Carl Jeter.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Jeter, of Blountstown; sons, Johnnie F. Jeter, Jr. and partner, Robert Jeter and wife, Robin, Thomas Jeter and wife, Christina; daughters, Michelle Jeter and partner, Melvin, Melanie Malse and husband, John; sons by marriage, Jody Vowell and partner, Stephanie and Tony Vowell and partner, Tanya; adored by 12 grandchildren; brothers, John Wayne Jeter and wife, Wanda, Larry Jeter and wife, Laura; Flake Jeter and wife, Gail; and a sister, Elisabeth Boutwell, and partner, James Owens.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, February 21, at 2:00 pm CST at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel. Memorialization will be by cremation.
