The Blountstown High School 2012-13 varsity volleyball team has been named Fall Academic Team Champions for Class 1A with a team cumulative GPA of 3.809.
The FHSAA Academic Team Champion recognition program honors team work not only in competition, but in the classroom as well. The program recognizes teams in each of the Association’s 22 sanctioned sports and eight recognized sports, naming an Academic Team Championship in each classification. Each classification and overall winner receives a commemorative plaque. The team was coached by Tanya Durham with Amanda McGhee serving as assistant coach.
Team members are Savannah Pitts, Hope Jerkins, Savannah Jerkins, Jordan Griffin, Adrienne Santilus, Jackie Dudley, Randa McCroan, Breanna Jerkins, Courtney McFarland, Cierra Brown, Kristen Jenkins, and Ashtin McMillian. Congratulations to the Blountstown High School 2012 Volleyball Team for being named Fall Academic Team Champions.
