Felicity Middlebrooks has been arrested for filing a false report with the Blountstown Police Department.
Middlebrooks alleged last month that DaShawn Holmes grabbed her by the throat and hit her head with a closed fist while she was holding their infant child. Witness Tammie Gentry backed up her claims. Holmes was charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant victim, plus child abuse.
However, Middlebrooks came forward last week to say she and Gentry made up the story in an effort to get $1500 she needed to relocate and pay Gentry money she was owed. She said Gentry scratched her so she would appear injured.
