Martha Alexander Baggett, 85, of Altha, Florida, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012, in Altha.
Martha was a lifelong resident of Altha and was a member of Sunny Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was retired from Baggett’s Group Home where she worked for many years.
Preceding her in death were her parents, James Will and Nora Mae (Spivey) Alexander; two sons, James Franklin Sangster and Robert Sangster; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, James and Bill Alexander; and three sisters, Helen Rabon, Evelyn Ribnbark, and Edith Williams.
Survivors include a son, John Derek Sangster, of Altha; daughters, Janice Atwell and her husband, Tom, of Blountstown, Sherry Grover and her husband, James ” Jr.”, also of Blountstown, and Debbie Barfield of Altha; 15 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Alexander of Pensacola, and Jerry Alexander of Sneads; and a sister, Betty Yager of Dade City, Florida.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 1, at Sunny Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church in Altha with Reverend Larry Broome officiating. Interment followed in Sunny Hill Cemetery.
