Mossy Pond celebrates new library & community center
Christmas came early for the folks in Mossy Pond as a new library and community center were dedicated Thursday.
Calhoun County Public Library Director Rita Maupin led the ceremony, introducing community members to the state of the art facility. Computer stations, gathering space with a kitchen and ample space for meetings is included. Youngsters can look forward to afterschool programs. The facility is located at the corner of Miller Road and Lake McKenzie Boulevard.
