Mr. Eddie Faircloth, 64, of Blountstown, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 14, 2012, in Tallahassee, FL.
Eddie was born on July 11, 1948, in Panama City, FL, and had lived in Blountstown all of his life. He, along with his wife, Charlotte, owned and operated Faircloth Septic Tank Service in Blountstown for several years. Eddie was a 1966 graduate of Blountstown High School and was an avid Florida Gator Football Fan. Eddie was a devoted Christian at Victory Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Zelma Faircloth, and a brother, Ronnie Faircloth.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Faircloth, of Blountstown; a daughter, Chelsea Faircloth of Blountstown; a sister, Betsy Diane Childs, and her husband, Phillip, of Folkston, GA; his brother, Tim Faircloth, of Blountstown; and a very special friend and companion, Sassy.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 18, at 2:00 pm (CST) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dwayne Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Memorial Cemetery in Blountstown. The family will receive friends Monday, December 17, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm (CST) at Peavy Funeral Home.
