Ten Carr FCCLA members recently entered baked goods in the North Florida Fair and received ribbons and money.
A first grader at Carr, Sydney Sewell, entered the King Arthur Flour contest and won 1st place. She was given a recipe to cook along with the contest rules. The recipe was for "Fairy Cakes" and the icing to decorate them. She made butterflies, flowers, and magic wands out of fondant as decorations. Along with the big ribbon, she received a gift card worth $50 in cooking supplies from King Arthur.
