SchoolMall is back at Altha School. This is a fundraiser for the Media Center. SchoolMall is an online shopping mall where any family, from anywhere, can shop merchants like Office Depot, Sharper Image, JC Penney, Dell Computers and over 200 other leading national merchants.
All students have received a SchoolMall booklet of 11 postcards that they can complete with names and addresses of family and friends and return to the school. The postcards will be mailed with information about our school’s participation in the SchoolMall program. These postcards will only be used for this campaign and will not become part of a mailing list.
Students will receive a gift when they return their completed booklet to their homeroom teacher or the Media Center. One student from our school will win the grand prize, a Razor Kick Scooter. All booklets, signed and checked Yes or No, will be entered into a drawing for a free Florida Family vacation. When two items are ordered from a student’s postcards, the student will receive a “Glow-in-the-Dark” Looney Tunes shirt. The Media Center will receive $2.25 for each completed booklet and up to 40% of every purchase when any online shopper enters SchoolMall and designates Altha School. The more people who know about SchoolMall, the more our school will earn.
