Altha Public School and the Florida FFA Association are pleased to announce the selection of Altha Middle and Altha Senior FFA Chapters as recipients of Florida’s Premier FFA Chapter Award.
The Premier Chapter Award was initiated to recognize superior achievement by chapters in Agricultural Education and the FFA. To be eligible for this award, a chapter must be proficient in several areas, which include Alumni and Community Partnerships, Financial Planning, Public Relations, along with Recruitment and involvement in State FFA activities.
The Altha Middle and Senior FFA Chapters were the only FFA Chapters in Calhoun County to receive this honor, an honor that only 24 chapters in the state received, out of 325 FFA Chapters. This is the second year, in a row, that both the Altha FFA Chapters have received this award!
