Ramsey Layne Brown, 29, of Bristol passed away Monday, July 30, 2012, at Dr. Phillips Hospital in Orlando, FL., with her mother, Teresa Hamlin, and her brother, Christopher Brown, by her side.
Ramsey fought a brave battle and was loved dearly by everyone that came in contact with her. We will miss her so very much.
She was preceded in death by her father, L.G. Brown, Jr., and her maternal grandfather, George Carroll Ramsey.
Ramsey is survived her mother, Teresa Hamlin; her step-father, Henry Hamlin; her brother, Christopher Brown; a step sister, Ann-Marie Hamlin Cury; a step-brother, Garrett Hamlin; her maternal grandmother, Betty Ann Ramsey, of Bristol; her paternal grandparents, L.G. and Ruth Brown, of Midland, Michigan; many other aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces and other family members; and many friends that loved her dearly.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, August 2, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Bevis Funeral Home in Bristol. The funeral service will be held Friday, August 3, at 11:00 am at the Lake Mystic Baptist Church in Bristol with the interment at Lake Mystic Cemetery.
