OBITUARY - Patterson

Mrs. Alice H. Patterson, 87, of Blountstown, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012, at Bay Medical Center.

Alice was born on January 30, 1925, to the late Monroe and Lizzie Harris of Chicago, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Patterson; two sons, Raymond J. Patterson and Theodore R. Patterson; a daughter, Secora Patterson; and a stepson, Timothy Davis.

Survivors include one sister, Emma L. Miller, of Miami; six daughters, Dorothy Brown (Walter Brown) of Cypress, Blanchie A. Patterson, Rosa L. Engram (the late Willie Engram), Coretha Jones (Stephen), Linda L. Hughes, and Verna L. Patterson-Roberts (Barry R. Roberts), all of Blountstown; five sons, James Sheffield (China), Johnny H. Patterson (Shirley A.) of Blountstown and Woodbine, GA, Hutchinson H. Patterson of Elizabethtown, KY, Mikal Patterson (Teresa) of Rome, GA, and Alvin Patterson of Blountstown; one stepdaughter, Helen Atkins, of Blountstown; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 3, at 11 a.m. at the Blountstown Middle School Auditorium. The repass will be at 20552 SE Fuqua Circle, Apartment 1016, Blountstown.

The Patterson family would like to thank all the friends of the family for their love and support during our time of bereavement. Special thanks to Dr. Misbah Faruqui.
