NOTICE OF CREDITORS

TO ALL PERSONS HAVING CLAIMS OR DEMANDS AGAINST THE ABOVE ESTATE AND ALL OTHER PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE:

YOU ARE NOTIFIED that the administration of the Estate of George Pelt, Jr., File Number 2012-34PR is pending in the Circuit Court for Calhoun County, Florida, Probate Division, 20859 Central Ave., Blountstown, FL 32424, the address of which is the Calhoun County Courthouse. The Personal Representative of the Estate is William Mark Pelt. The name and address of the Personal Representative’s attorney are set forth below.
All persons having claims or demands against the Estate are required, WITHIN THREE MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, to file with the Clerk of the above Court a written statement of any claim or demand they may have. Each claim must be in writing and must indicate the basis for the claim, the name and address of the creditor or his agent or attorney and the amount the claim is contingent or unliquidated, the nature of the uncertainty shall be state. If the claim is secured, the security shall be described. The claimant shall deliver sufficient copies of the claim to the Clerk to enable the Clerk to mail one copy to the Personal Representative. All persons interested in the Estate to whom a copy of this Notice of Administration has been mailed are required, WITHIN THREE MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, to file any objection they may have that challenges the validity of the decedent’s Will, the qualifications of the Personal Representative, or the venue or jurisdiction of the Court.

TO CLOSE ALL OF GLISSON STREET AND THAT PORTION OF EVANS STREET FROM NORTH STREET TO SMITH STREET, LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN LIMITS OF ALTHA, FLORIDA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Council in and for the Town of Altha, Florida, will consider the adoption of a resolution to abandon/close all of Glisson Street and a portion of Evans Street, located within the Town Limits of the Town of Altha, Florida, and more particularly described as: All of Glisson Street and that portion of Evans Street from North Street to Smith Street, in Altha, Florida.
Any person wishing to be heard on this issue should be present at the following meeting:
The passage of the proposed Resolution to abandon/close all of Glisson Street and that portion of Evans Street located between North Street and Smith Street, will be considered at the regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Altha, Florida, at 6:00 P.M., C.S.T., on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at the Town Hall, Altha, Florida.
A copy of the proposed Resolution can be inspected by the public at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Altha, Florida.

REQUEST FOR LETTERS
OF INTEREST

The City of Blountstown will receive Letters of Interest from any qualified engineering and surveying firm interested in providing the requested services for the following project:

BLOUNTSTOWN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SIDEWALK

The project will consist of construction engineering and inspection of the sidewalk, and drainage improvements along Pear Street, Hentz, Marie, and Lambert Avenues in Blountstown, FL in accordance with FDOT Standards as identified in the City’s Local Agency Participation contract with FDOT.

The Proposer’s Checklist can be obtained at Blountstown City Hall, 20591 Central Avenue West, Blountstown, FL 32424, (850) 674-5488. The City may elect to be the prime CEI provider and hire one or more firms for critical point inspection and or other limited services as a sub-consultant.

Plans and specifications may be viewed or obtained at Preble-Rish, Inc., 20684 Central Ave. East Blountstown, FL 32424, (850) 674-3300. Cost for plans and specifications will be $100 per set non-refundable. Checks should be made payable to Preble-Rish, Inc. This project is federally funded with assistance from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Letters of interest will be received until 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on Friday, July 20, 2012, at the City of Blountstown City Hall, 20591 Central Avenue West, Blountstown, Florida 32424.
