YOU ARE NOTIFIED that the administration of the Estate of JEFF SEXTON File Number 2012-17 PR is pending in the Circuit Court for Calhoun County, Florida, Probate Division, 20859 Central Ave., Blountstown, FL 32424, the address of which is the Calhoun County Courthouse. The Personal Representative of the Estate is John R. Sexton The name and address of the Personal Representative’s attorney are set forth below.
All persons having claims or demands against the Estate are required, WITHIN THREE MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, to file with the Clerk of the above Court a written statement of any claim or demand they may have. Proposed Flood Hazard Determinations for Calhoun County, Florida
and Incorporated Areas

The Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has issued a preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), and where applicable, Flood Insurance Study (FIS) report, reflecting proposed flood hazard determinations within the Town of Altha, the City of Blountstown and the unincorporated areas of Calhoun County. These flood hazard determinations may include the addition or modification of Base Flood Elevations, base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area boundaries or zone designations, or the regulatory floodway. Technical information or comments are solicited on the proposed flood hazard determinations shown on the preliminary FIRM and/or FIS report for the above-mentioned communities. The preliminary FIRM and FIS report can be viewed at http://portal.nwfwmdfloodmaps.com/. These flood hazard determinations are the basis for the floodplain management measures that your community is required to either adopt or show evidence of being already in effect in order to qualify or remain qualified for participation in the National Flood Insurance Program. However, before these determinations are effective for floodplain management purposes, you will be provided an opportunity to appeal the proposed information. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
CITY OF BLOUNTSTOWN

The City of Blountstown is requesting proposals for the purchase and development of City owned property located at 20720 Central Ave, Blountstown, FL 32424; AKA: The Kastli Building; Friendly’s Pawn Shop. To view this property, please contact: Emory Pierce, City Manager, at (850) 674-5488.

Proposals must include an offer to purchase for some amount, estimated amount that will be spent to develop or rehabilitate the property, firm date for completion of all construction and opening as a business, type of business anticipated, and any other relevant information.

Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Blountstown, Florida. Eight (8) copies of sealed proposals marked “Property Proposal,” must be received by 4:00 P.M. C.S.T., on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at City Hall, Attention: City Manager, 20591 Central Ave. W., Blountstown, Florida 32424.

Proposals will then be opened May 8, 2012 and read aloud by the City Council during the Regular Session of the City Council on May 8, 2012 at 17262 NW Angle Street, Blountstown, Florida 32424. Proposal opening will begin at 6:00 P.M., C.S.T.

The City Council may evaluate and select a proposal at that time or direct staff to evaluate proposals and bring back a recommendation at a later date. Proposals will be evaluated based on purchase price offered, estimated amount of money to be spent on development and rehabilitation, as well as the type of business that will occupy the building. The selected proposer will be required to enter into a development agreement with the City that will require the property to revert back to the City should the project not be completed as proposed, as well as other terms.
