BHS Principal Ronnie Hand and Assistant Principal Ed.D Debbie Williams are shown presenting a certificate to Caitlyn Stewart, a student at BHS who has been selected as a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. She is the daughter of John and Kathy Stewart.
In the fall of her Junior year, Caitlyn participated in the PSAT/NMSQT, the qualifying test for National Merit Scholarship Program. Of the 1.5 million students who participated, Caitlyn was one of 16,000 students who qualified as National Merit Semifinalists. Caitlyn has now been recognized as a National Merit Finalist, based upon her academic excellence, ability, skill, and accomplishment. Blountstown High School is extremely proud to recognize Caitlyn for this high academic honor.
