On Saturday, October 1, and Sunday, October 2, the whole world will be walking again with Scott Kelby, president of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) and #1 bestselling computer and technology book author, in his Fourth Annual Worldwide Photo Walk™ — the world’s largest global social photography event in the history of photography.

This year, the Photo Walk will take place over two days in October giving more photographers from around the world a chance to participate. In 2010, more than 30,000 photographers walked in over 1,000 locations taking 6 million images in just one day. We anticipate that this year’s Photo Walk will be one of our biggest events.

We are honored to host our very own Worldwide Photowalk here in Blountstown, Florida on October 1st! Local Photographer Ben Hall will be leading the group through the streets of Downtown Blountstown for a scenic tour of the historic buildings.

“Last year’s walk was a wonderful success,” says Ben Hall. “We had 19 participants, some came from as far away as Enterprise, Alabama, and this year’s walk will be even better, now that we’re part of the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk.”

Hall continues, “It’s a great opportunity to network with other photographers and showcase the beauties of our small town. The walk is open to amateurs and professionals alike, just come with good walking shoes and your favorite camera! This year’s walk will be on October 1st, and we’ll meet at Main Street Station at 9 am. We’ll walk through downtown Blountstown capturing the sights of the area and then meet back for lunch at Main Street Station.”

To register for the photowalk go to the Worldwide Photwalk website at www.worldwidephotowalk.com or you can go directly to the Blountstown WWPW page by using this link- www.tinyurl.com/blountstownphotowalk . It’s free of charge to participate, but we’re limited to 50 participants, so sign up quickly! If you have any questions you can contact Ben Hall by email at benhall48@gmail.com. Looking forward to seeing you all!
