NEWS ALERT - Bristol meth lab busted

A Bristol woman has been arrested after a meth lab was busted at her home.
Lorie Elizabeth Duncan, 31, has been charged with manufacture of meth, possession of meth, aggravated child abuse, and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.
According to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, Inv. Todd Wheetley and Lt. Mark Mallory of the Calhoun-Liberty Drug Task Force went to Duncan’s Peddie Road home Aug. 15 following a tip about a possible meth lab at the residence. Duncan consented to a search of the home. Containers with meth residue, a glass meth pipe, lithium battery, straws and an eye dropper with suspected acid were discovered in the master bedroom, along with marijuana. Other ingredients used to manufacture meth were located in the kitchen, bathroom and back porch.
Duncan has a small child residing in the home, resulting in the abuse charge.
