Blountstown AA (8U) All-Stars would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to our community and corporate sponsors.
Their great generosity helped provide the opportunity for these young players to compete against teams from all over the State of Florida at the 2011 Dixie Youth State Tournament in Brooksville.
These young athletes competed in their district tournament and were crowned District 5 Champions, earning their birth to compete at the state level. This was a first time experience for each of these young players. We did not come away with a trophy, however, it was a great learning experience for the team. The players and coaches worked very hard, long hours during the spring and summer to achieve this goal. We are very proud of them.
