Carson Elania Faircloth, 14, a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011, after a lengthy illness.
She was a student at Grand Ridge Middle School and attended RiverTown Community Church in Blountstown, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Nelson Trickey, and her paternal grandfather, Gene Faircloth.
Carson is survived by her father, Jeffery Faircloth, of Sneads; her mother, Paula T. Faircloth, of Quincy; two brothers, Brennan Faircloth and Maddox Faircloth, both of Sneads; one sister, Lauren Faircloth, of Sneads; maternal grandmother, Mary Trickey, of Altha; paternal grandmother, Edna Faircloth, of Sneads; and maternal great aunt, Janet Trickey Pooser, of Altha.
The service will be held Sunday, July 17, at 2 p.m. at Grand Ridge Middle School Gym in Grand Ridge. Burial will follow at Chipola Cemetery on Hwy. 71 in Altha. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at Lanier-Andler Funeral Home in Sneads.
