To me, our justice system is a wonderful thing and usually fair. It is beyond my scope of thought to figure this case out though. What happened to a mother being responsible for and caring for her child? There was not even a verdict of guilty of child neglect. Why? Yes, I believe the judicial system has failed this little girl, and there seems to be no justice for Cayley after all the time spent (not to mention the monetary costs of this trial). To the irateness of most people in this country, Casey will walk free at the time of this paper being published. There was too much evidence against her for her to go free, and yet she will....or will she? How is she going to go back in to society after all that has transgressed??

She got away with murder. No parent would wait 31 days to report a child missing unless they did it.

I agree with you. If you had nothing to hide you would call 911 immediately.A murderer is going to walk free.I don't understand how she was acquitted but the public will never let her be free.
