The 2010 HOBY ambassador for BHS has been selected. 10th grader, Karah Beaver will have the distinction of representing Blountstown High School at this year’s HOBY Leadership Seminar in Tallahassee. 10th grader Chelsey Weiler was selected as alternate.
The HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership) is the nation’s foremost youth leadership development organization and every year over 9,000 deserving high school sophomores from across the country are chosen to participate in HOBY Leadership Seminars. HOBY has proven to be an educational, life-changing experience that provides leadership skill development with a strong focus on community service and we congratulate Karah and Chelsey for being selected.
