Blountstown High SGA started their annual can food drive on November 1st with the expectation of collecting enough food to send to the Ministry Center in Blountstown for the holidays.
By the end of the drive, November 18th, SGA had collected and displayed 950 pounds of can food donated by the students at BHS.
Mrs. Sharon Leonard-McCrone’s 1st period class won the grand prize of a Piggly Wiggly breakfast by giving the most cans. They will enjoy a breakfast served to them by SGA during their class time.
Second place was Mrs. Samantha Taylor’s 1st period class and third place was Mrs. Rachel De’Angelis’ 1st period class.
SGA would like to thank all the students and faculty that contributed to this food drive and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
