The County Record has learned Liberty County authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped from their county jail this morning.
Rodell Pete, 22, a trustee at the jail, disappeared this morning when he was supposed to be preparing breakfast.
Pete was being held for violating his state probation. He was on probation after a series of drug charges.
