The Blountstown Tigers could not stop Chipley’s running attack Friday night at Bowles Field and fell behind 17-0 by halftime. Neither could the Tigers score even with a first and goal from Chipley’s seven yard line on the opening series of the second half. Despite a strong effort by the Blountstown defense in the second half to keep Chipley from scoring more, the Tiger offense couldn’t put any points on the scoreboard.
The 17-0 loss to Chipley evened the Tigers’ record at 1-1 with a district game coming up Friday night in Wewa at 7:00 p.m.
