Calhoun County is blessed with a rich farming history and we have been presenting this award for over 55 years. Each year, Farm Families in north Florida are honored locally and by the North Florida Fair.

The Outstanding Farm Family of the Year Award is given to a family whose pride, dedication, and devotion to farming, is a way of life. These qualities are also reflected every day by their interactions with family, community, and colleagues.

Recently, at the Annual Farm Bureau Banquet, the announcement was made that Calhoun County’s 2010 Outstanding Farm Family is the Baggett Family of Altha!
