Sara Jackson of the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office began a new chapter in her life on June 30 by entering retirement. Sara worked as a Correctional Officer in the Jail from 1996 until her retirement last week. In addition, Sara worked with the Florida Department of Corrections.
In recognition of her valued service here at the CCSO, Sara was presented with a golf wrist watch and a plaque commemorating her 13 years of service. Additionally, Sara’s co-workers presented her with a rod and reel, tackle box with tackle and a folding chair so that she may enjoy many days of leisure. We wish the best for Sara, and we want to extend a great thank you for the sacrifices that she made over the years to be in public service.
Jackson is pictured being congratulated by Sheriff David Tatum.
