Each year the Altha Cheerleaders partner up with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in raising money for Florida Leukemia and Lymphoma patients through a program called Pennies for Patients.
This year, our elementary classes raised a total of $370.
Our first place money raiser was Mrs. Tatum's 1st Grade (pictured) and our second place money raiser was Ms. Orama's 3rd Grade.
First place was awarded with an ice cream party and second place was awarded with a popsicle party.
