The Blountstown Police Department is seeing an increase in auto burglaries in the neighborhood located behind Burger King. In the past two weeks the Blountstown Police Department has investigated three auto burglaries in the Southwestern part of the city. In each of these burglaries the vehicles were unlocked and there was no forced entry to any of the vehicles. I would like to remind and encourage everyone to lock their doors and remove any valuables from your vehicle to keep yourself from being a victim. Remember to practice T-L-C. Take Out Valuables, LOCK your vehicle, Close Windows and Sun/Moon roof. Anyone with any information regarding these offenses is encouraged to contact the Blountstown Police Department at 674-5987.
