Mr. David William McIntosh, 65, of Altha, FL, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013, in Blountstown, FL.
David was born on January 11, 1948, in Haddix, KY, and had lived in Altha for the past four months, coming from Franklin, IN. He was a retired welder by trade and a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, serving from 1969 until 1971 in the United States Marine Corp. David was a member of Rivertown Community Church in Blountstown and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra McIntosh, of Altha; father and step mother, James Hershel McIntosh and his wife, Gladys, of Fairland, IN; one son, David Joshua McIntosh, of Ohio; two daughters, Jennifer Ashley Eaton and her husband, Daniel, of Lake City, PA, and Cindy Goodpaster and her husband, Bobby, of Winchester, KY; one brother, Rick McIntosh, and his wife, Dee, of Fairland, IN; one sister, Dianne Gibson, and her husband, Forrest, of Florence, KY; grandchildren, Kipp Goodpaster, Cera Goodpaster, Cassie Goodpaster, Caitlyn Goodpaster, Zoey Elizabeth Eaton and Raiden Xavier Eaton.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorialization will be by cremation.

Mr. Fred T. Johnson, 79 of Blountstown, FL, passed away early Tuesday morning, February 12, 2013, in Blountstown.
Fred was born on June 18, 1933, in Knoxville, TN, and had lived in Blountstown since 1993, coming from Pensacola, FL. He was retired from the Monsanto Chemical Company with 37 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Air Force. Fred always enjoyed and saw the good side of life; he truly loved people and was a very fun person to be with. He was a member of the Blountstown Lions Club and a member of the Blountstown United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Johnson, of Blountstown; two sons, Berry Pugh and his wife, Lisa, of Huntsville, AL, and Jeff Johnson of Boynton Beach, FL; two daughters, Laurie Holland of Milton, FL, and Sherry Howes and her husband, Chris; one brother, Dick Johnson, and his wife, Sarah, of Nichols, SC; three sisters, Pat Osborne of Pensacola, FL, Sarah Haynes of Pensacola, FL, and Cynthia Barton of TN; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Jesse Talmadge Wright, 82, of Bristol, Florida passed away Friday, February 8, 2013, at his home.
He was born in Alford, Florida, January 11, 1931, to the late Jesse Ivey and Marie (Haddock) Wright. He served in the U. S. Navy and retired from Civil Service in 1964. After his retirement he ran a grocery store in Port St. Joe Beach, Florida. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death other than his parents were a brother, Homer Wright and a sister, Imogene Kelly.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elouise of Bristol; a step-son, Danny Neel of Sumatra, Florida; daughters, Debra Duron Wright of Vida, Texas and Brenda Moulder and husband David of Auburn, Georgia; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held at 3:00 p.m. ET, Sunday, February 10, in Salem Cemetery in Cottondale, Florida, with Reverend Wayne Sumner officiating.

Rudy was born October 7, 1947, in Meriden, Connecticut, to the late Rudolph Thomas, Sr. and Frances Maguder. He painted houses for over 30 years. He attended Lake Mystic Baptist Church and was a member of American Legion.
Preceding him in death other than his parents were two brothers, Michael and Leo Maguder.
He is survived by a devoted friend, Louise Tipton, of Bristol; a son, John El Tipton, also of Bristol; three daughters, Stephanie Follo and husband, Patrick, of Connecticut, Michelle Van Keun of Vero Beach, Florida, and Joanna Harvell and husband, Bubba, of Bristol; five grandchildren, Crystal, Elyssah, Mikey, Austin, and Alexander; sisters, Jackie Audretsch, Rocky Mroz, Mary Wakefield, and Maria Callendar; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Dollie was preceded in death by her husbands, John Henry Manning and Lawrence Dawson; son, Charles Ray Dawson; sisters, Charlie Etta, May Nell and Rossie.
Survivors include two daughters, Johnnie Dawson and June Uhrick, both of Blountstown; one brother, William Sutton and his wife, Gloria, of Virginia Beach, VA; one sister, Jeannie Wright, and her husband, Ken, of Michigan; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February, 9, at 11:00 am (CST) from the graveside at Pine Memorial Cemetery in Blountstown with Reverend Dwayne Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow. Nellie was born on November 16, 1930, in Altha, and had lived in Calhoun County all of her life. She was a retired lunchroom lady with the Calhoun County School System with over 20 years of service. Nellie will be remembered by the thousands of children she served lunches to at all the Calhoun County lunchrooms. Nellie was a member of Sunny Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church in Altha.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Guy; son, Wayne Guy; grandson, Ralph Yoder, Jr.; and brother, James W. O’Bryan.
Survivors include her son, Travis Earl Guy, and his wife, Arletha, of Mt. View, CA; two daughters, Bonnie Pitts and her husband, Marion, of Altha, and Charlotte Grimes and her husband, Phillip, of Blountstown; sister-in-Law, Billie M. Hollis J. Fleeman, 83, of Clarksville, Florida, was born September 12, 1929, and went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 26, 2013.
Mr. Fleeman served in the United States Air Force from 1947 to 1965 and was of the Baptist Faith.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Hollis Benjamin and Pearly Mae (Marr) Fleeman, and a sister, Betty Matthews.
Hollis was a loving husband and father. He leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Katherine Walters Fleeman; daughters, Patty Fleeman, Karen Bryant and her husband, Belvin, and Becky Shuler, all of Clarksville, Donna Golden and her husband, Jerry, of Bremen, Georgia; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; a brother, Randall Fleeman, of Kennesaw, Georgia, and a sister, Doris Barrett, of Acworth, Georgia.

Robert Allen Smith, 70, passed away at his home in Blountstown, Florida, on Wednesday, January 23, 2013.
Robert was born in Blountstown on October 29, 1942, and graduated from Blountstown High School. He worked as a carpenter for many years before going to work for Blountstown Supply where he worked for 15 years. Later, Robert went to work at Tatum’s Hardware where he worked until the time of his illness. He was an active member of Rivertown Community Church. His passion was God’s word and sharing it with others. He spent 31 years teaching Bible study classes at area prisons, leading Sunday school classes and small groups. He was a loving husband and a fun-loving father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Beneva Smith, and two infant grandchildren, Rocky Justice and Clara Dawn Phinney.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 50 years, Clara Smith, and their children, Pauline Schrock and husband, Duane, of Fairhope, Alabama, Paul Smith and wife, Melody, of Blountstown, Florida, Pamela Detweiler and husband, Philip, of Blountstown, and April Phinney and husband, Tony, also of Blountstown; grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer, and Zachary Schrock, Noelle, Cameron, and Karis Smith, Katie, Karissa, and Caleb Detweiler, and Brett and Jacob Phinney.
