Mr. Odell H. Owens, age 89, of Bristol, FL passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Panama City, FL. Odell was born on January 27, 1925 in Liberty County and returned back home to Bristol in 1974. He was a retired United States Veteran serving in the United States Air Force with 26 ½ years of service. Odell served during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Odell also worked as a fishing guide for the Trout Dock on the White River in Lakeview, Arkansas. He dearly loved hunting, fishing and farming. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethelyn Owens and a brother, Hobert V. Owens. Odell was a member of the Bristol Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bristol, FL.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 at 11:00 am (EDT) at the Bristol Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Coy Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Meachum Cemetery in Bristol, FL. The family will receive friends Monday, August 4, 2014 from 10:00 am (EDT) until service time at 11:00 am (EDT) at the Bristol Pentecostal Holiness Church. Ray Harrison Tatum, 64, of Marianna died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his residence. He was a loving husband and wonderful father and PaPa. He thoroughly enjoyed teaching Sunday school and gardening as well as tinkering in his shop.

Mr. Claston Lee (Pepper) Boyett, age 55, of Altha, FL passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Panama City, FL. Pepper was born on August 13, 1958 in Pensacola, FL and had lived in Calhoun County since 1989 coming from Orlando, FL. He was a retired truck driver and served in the United States Army serving a Tank Driver. Pepper dearly loved trains, fishing and old military movies.
