William A. “Bill” Waller, 78, of Blountstown, Florida, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in Tallahassee, Florida.
Bill was born September 1, 1934, in Gladewater, Texas, to the late Cleo and Bonnie (Rose) Waller. He was IT Manager for Shelton Trucking in Altha, Florida, for many years. He was a very active member of First Baptist Church in Blountstown and was a great Bible scholar. He was a member of the Men’s Adult I Sunday school class and was a member of B.A.L.L. (Be Active Live Longer) Club. He loved horses and he loved to golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of forty-six years, Marilyn (Summers) Waller.
Survivors include sons, Gerald Waller, and his wife, Marcie, of Franklin, Tennessee, Jay Waller and his wife, Kimberly, of Tallahassee, and William A. “Bill” Waller, Jr. of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Diana McKown, of Quinlan, Texas; grandchildren, Aaron, Daniel, Trevor, and Emma Waller, and Chas and Daniel Groebe; a brother, Harold Waller, of Mineola, Texas; and a sister, Sue Williams, of Livingston, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 6, at First Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Rhoads officiating.

Robbie Sale, 88, of Blountstown, Florida passed away Monday, April 1, 2013, in Tallahassee, Florida.
Robbie was born February 7, 1925, to the late Clifford and Martha Elizabeth (Richardson) Black in Lee, Florida. She enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends in the Blountstown Bridge Club (a member since 1952) and enjoyed having lunch with the Red Hat Ladies. She was a member of Blountstown First Baptist Church and the Estelle Ramsey Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sale, and a granddaughter, Corbin Elizabeth Daughtry.
Survivors include daughters, Jackie Stewart and her husband, Kenny, of Mt. Dora, Florida, and Robyn Daughtry and her husband, Bobby, of Tallahassee; grandchildren, Tony Stewart, Jack Stewart, Joshua Daughtry, and Jacob Daughtry; two great-grandchildren, Kenley Stewart and Caden Stewart; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Daniel Clausen, 83, of Altha, FL, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Clausen was born June 9, 1929, to Axel and Josephine Clausen in River grove, Illinois. In 1945, at the age of 16, Dan joined the Merchant Marines as a Ship Officer and Captain of Vessels. He spent the next 54 years on the water. In 1969, Dan moved to Alaska where he entered into the fishing industry, tendering and commercial fishing out of Cook Inlet. In 1987, Dan became an immersed believer in Christ. He was active in Kenai Christian Church as an Elder. He also volunteered at the Heritage Place performing church services for the elderly for many years. In 2005, Dan moved to Florida with his wife Marie to be in warmer weather, he then joined the First Baptist Church of Altha. Dan loved his church family and would not miss a service if he did not have to. He also loved poetry, and could recite extremely long poems off a whim. He had so many stories to tell his family and friends and he could tell them exceptionally well, he made them so vivid, that you could just imagine yourself alongside him in every one. Most of all, he truly loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Trotter.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Clausen, of Altha; daughters, Lissa Wright of Bushnell, FL Shannon Reinhardt and her husband, Robert, of Kenai, AK, Julie Metzger and her husband, Wade, of Eagle River, AK, Brenda Fowler and her husband, Wendell, of Kenai, AK; granddaughters, Alisha Wright of Georgia, Sheena Hartsfield and her husband, Jonathon, of Lynn Haven, FL, Amber Tirado and her fiancé, Chad, of Kenai, AK, Melissa Trotter of Helena, Montana, and Chloe Metzger of Eagle River; grandsons, Jimmy Wright of Bushnell, FL, Orlando Cuaresma of California, Jr. Reinhardt of Kenai, AK, Thomas Conley of Las Vegas, NV, Tanner Landry of Kenai, AK, Taylor Landry of Kenai, AK, Tristan Landry of Kenai, AK, and Cade Metzger of Eagle River, AK; and seven great-grandchildren who will all miss their “Papa” dearly.

Linda Loretta Clemmons Coxwell, 82, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
Mrs. Coxwell was born in Altha, Florida, on June 20, 1930, to Dewey Lee and Ruby Barber Clemmons. Mrs. Coxwell lived in Blountstown, Florida, until moving to Crawfordville, Florida, and then to Thomasville, Georgia. After retiring, she, her husband, and their son, Sammy, returned to Crawfordville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Reverend Samuel Ancil Cowell; their son, Samuel Ancil Coxwell, Jr.; her parents; and her sister, Hilda Clemmons Alford.
Mrs. Coxwell was the loving wife of a Southern Baptist minister. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school, gardening, growing prize winning roses, arranging flowers, sewing, taking annual trips to the mountains, and cooking for her family and members of her church. Most of all, she loved caring for her home and family. She will be remembered for her beauty, her love of Jesus Christ, her homemade desserts and homegrown vegetables, and her fluffy, hot biscuits.
Survivors include her son, Ashley, and his wife, Melissa, of Callahan, Florida; her daughter, Dr. Deborah Coxwell-Teague, and her husband, Everett, of Tallahassee, Florida; her daughter, Alicia Crittenden, and her husband, Bill, of Acworth, Georgia; her sister, Juanita Clemmons Temple, of Callahan, and her brother, Dewey Lee Clemmons, Jr., and his wife, Talitha, of Williamsburg, Virginia. Mrs. Coxwell was the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren, two great-grandsons, a niece, and several nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Crawfordville Cemetery in Crawfordville at 10:30 a.m. (ET), Monday, March 11.

Clyde Mack Waldron, 64, of Clarksville, Florida, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, in Panama City, Florida.
He retired from the United States Air Force after nineteen years as a jet engine mechanic and served in the Vietnam conflict, receiving the Meritorious Service Medal. He was also a member of Disabled American Veterans. Clyde was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as Sunday school superintendent for twenty-eight and a half years.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Powell Waldron, of Clarksville; two sons, Christopher Mark Waldron and his wife, Jean, of Altha, Florida, and Steven Paul Waldron and his wife, Mandy, of Clarksville; seven grandchildren, Kayla Fowler and husband, Steven, of Marianna, Florida, Codi Waldron and wife, Alex, of Ft. He retired from the United States Air Force after nineteen years as a jet engine mechanic and served in the Vietnam conflict, receiving the Meritorious Service Medal. He was also a member of Disabled American Veterans. Clyde was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as Sunday school superintendent for twenty-eight and a half years.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Powell Waldron, of Clarksville; two sons, Christopher Mark Waldron and his wife, Jean, of Altha, Florida, and Steven Paul Waldron and his wife, Mandy, of Clarksville; seven grandchildren, Kayla Fowler and husband, Steven, of Marianna, Florida, Codi Waldron and wife, Alex, of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, Christopher Waldron of Altha, Taylor Waldron of Marianna, Alicia Waldron, also of Marianna, Michael Hughes of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Haley Hebert of Altha; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Fowler of Marianna and Colby Hughes of Altha; his father, Henry Waldron, and wife, Betty, of Clarksville and his mother, Thelma Kyle, and husband, William “Buddy,” of Blountstown; a brother, Jerry Waldron, of Clarksville; four sisters, Melinda Waldron, Sue Bailey and husband, Clyde, Janis Weiler and husband, Jack, all of Blountstown, and Deanna Waldron of Greensboro, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 7, in the Chapel of Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown with Reverend Francis Carlisle and Reverend John Marvin Nichols officiating. Mr. Robert Allen Tyre, Jr., 66, of Sneads, FL, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013, in Marianna, FL.
Robert was born on August 24, 1946, in Altha, FL, and had lived in Jackson and Calhoun Counties for most of his life. He was a retired dredge boat engineer and was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include one son, Scott Tyre, of Vass, NC; one brother, Charlie Tyre, of TX; and two grandchildren, Alyssa and Aiden Tyre.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 8, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm CT at Peavy Funeral Home. Memorialization will be by cremation.

Edwin was born on July 1, 1927, in Clarksville and had lived in Calhoun County all of his life. He was a retired construction superintendent and was a Veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy. Edwin was a member of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Tew, of Clarksville; four daughters, Karen Huckaby of Marianna, Angelia Tucker and her husband, William, of Bristol, Bessie Combs and her husband, David, of Telogia, Dianna Mauldin and her husband, Mark, of Altha; one sister, Winnie Eulene Adams, of Clarksville; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; three special nephews, Ronnie, Larry and Billy Stevens; and two special nieces, Kathy Milton and Susan Adams.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 5, at 3:00 pm CST at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Shawn Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Travelers Rest Cemetery in Clarksville.
