Gary A. Watterson, age 80, a Certified Public Accountant in Tallahassee, Florida for fifty years, died in Blountstown, Florida on Monday, September 17, 2012.
Gary was born in Jacksonville, Florida and lived for many years in Tallahassee before moving to Blountstown. He was a member of Blountstown First Baptist Church and was a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Army National Guard. Gary enjoyed playing his guitar and singing at the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Shirley (Prescott) Watterson; his brother, Gerald; a sister, Jacqueline; a daughter, Selena Williams Burke; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Watterson.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-six years, Imogene Watterson, of Blountstown; sons, Bruce Watterson of Tallahassee, Sean Watterson and his wife, Bridget, of New York, NY, Steve Williams and his wife, Wendy, of Altha, Florida, and Dillon Burke of Blountstown; daughters, Stephanie Williams of Blountstown, Sheila Shelton and her husband, Greg, of Altha, Shelly Smith and he husband, Ronnie, also of Altha, and Kayla Burke of Blountstown; seventeen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Eddy Watterson and his wife, Edie, of Hobe Sound, Florida.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Blountstown First Baptist Church with Bud Guilford and Dusty Malphurs officiating.

William Hubert “Bill” Lindsey, Sr., USAF M/Sgt. Ret, was born at Sumatra, Florida, at the home of his maternal grandparents on March 10, 1929, the son of Melvin and Ludy May Hill Lindsey. He died in Tallahassee September 3, 2012, with his beloved wife of 60 years, Anne, by his side.

Orie G. Colvin of Bristol, Florida, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012, at the age of 95.
She was born in Gadsden, Alabama, July 11, 1917, to the late Jones and Connie (Hicks) Granger. Orie was a homemaker and enjoyed helping others. She was a member of Bristol Church of God.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-four years, Daniel M. Colvin, and a twin sister, Erie Parker.
Survivors include her daughter, Gilda Drummond, of Bristol and a sister, Inez Parker, of Mobile, Alabama.
A homecoming celebration will be held at 3:00 p.m. Central Time/4:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Tuesday, September 4, in the Chapel at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown, Florida, with Reverend Fred Watson officiating. Joan was born on March 10, 1950, in Port Saint Joe, FL, and had lived in Blountstown for the past 10 years, coming from Wewahitchka, FL. She was retired from the Jackson County School System as a nutritionist. Joan was a 1968 graduate of Port Saint Joe High School.
She was preceded in death by her father, John David Lee, Sr., and a son, Clifford John (Trey) Tharpe III.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Melvin, of Blountstown; her mother, Jeanette Lee, of Port Saint Joe; a son, Jeffery Wade Tharpe, of Grand Ridge, FL; a daughter, Laura Jill Bailey, and husband, Tim, of Clarksville, FL; a brother, John David Lee, Jr., and wife, Peggy, of Grand Ridge; a sister, Marieta Ann Simmons, and her husband, Paul, of Pensacola, FL; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Patricia Kaiser of Malone, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at the age of 62.
She was born in Jacksonville, Florida, later moved to Athens, Georgia, and moved to Malone a year ago. Patricia was a caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her father, Reese Edwin Fielder; mother, Thelma Ocile (Ingram) Fielder; and step-mother, Sarah Fielder.
She is survived by sons, Reese Keiser and his wife, Tasha, and grandson, Zachary Kaiser, of Genoa, Illinois, and James Kaiser, Jr. and his wife, Tina, and godson, Dalton, of Ocklawaha, Florida; and their father, Jimmy “Pops” Kaiser; two brothers, Roger Fielder and his wife, Patricia, of Altha, Florida, and Christopher Fielder, Sr. and his wife, Janice, also of Altha; a sister, Sharon Jones and her husband, Chuck, of Athens, Georgia; three nieces and six nephews.

Inez was preceded in death her parents, Elbert Chapman Fowler and Alma Rachel (Godwin) Fowler, and a brother, James Earl Fowler.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis Lollie, of Hosford; two sons, David Allen Lollie and his wife, Debbie, of Tallahassee, FL, and Terry Dewayne Lollie and his wife, Cindy, of Blountstown; two daughters, Sharon Kay Markham and her husband, Lloyd, and Tammy Lynn Waddell and her husband, Don, all of Tallahassee; two brothers, Bobby Gerald Fowler of Hosford and Thomas Ray Fowler of Tallahassee; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Everett "Bill" McFarland, was born April 7, 1931, in Blountstown, to Pearl and Everett McFarland. He passed away August 26, 2012, in Panama City at the age of 81.
Bill was retired from Vitro, was a long-time resident of Port St Joe, a member of Oak Grove Assembly of God, and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Taronto McFarland; son, Tony McFarland; and daughter, Suzanne McFarland.
He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Tomlin (Jim) and Linda Pace (Johnny); eight grandkids, Steven Odom, Jamie Tomlin, Jennifer Tomlin, Bryan Hobbs, B.J. Tomlin, Jessica Pace, John Pace, and Megan Pace; siblings, Mary Ann Hornsby, Madelyn Harlow, Lois Jean Rammacher, and Patrick McFarland; brother-in-law, Anthony Taronto (Toni); sister-in-laws, Netta Hough and Dolores Roux (Louie); 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

J.W. was born on January 20, 1946 in Clarksville, FL, and lived in LaGrange, GA, for several years before moving to Altha. He was retired from the Apalachicola Northern Railroad after 28 years of service.

Marshall and his wife, Pamela, of Altha; a grandson raised by J.W. and JoAnn, Joshua D. Marshall, of LaGrange, GA; one daughter, Mary Y. Taylor and her husband, Troy, of Howard Lake, MN; three sisters, Mary Summerlot and her husband, Paul, of Port St. Joe, FL, Barbara Gates and her husband, Frank of Blountstown, FL, and Mae Porter and her husband, Marty of Bristol, FL; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Sadie Mae Davis McCray, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012.
Mrs. McCray was born in Hugh Creek, Blountstown to Jessie Pate Davis. She was raised in Hugh Creek and moved to West Palm Beach in 1944. She married the love of her life, PJ McCray, on August 26, 1944. After moving to Riviera Beach Heights, Sadie became the self-appointed police chief of Fifth St. and the Firehouse. She owned and operated a cab stand for years out of Riviera Beach and was affectionately known as the lady with the white hair who drives cabs.
Sadie leaves treasured memories with her children, Peter McCray (Deloris) of West Palm Beach, Emanuel McCray of Riviera Beach, Alfonso McCray of Merritt Island, Veronica McCray of Riviera Beach, William McCray of West Palm Beach, Robert McCray (Rangelique) of Riviera Beach, Nathaniel McCray (Katie) of Boynton Beach, Jerry P. McCray (Tiffany) of Delray Beach, Luther McCray (Tanya) of West Palm Beach, and Kathy McCray Kinsey of Riviera Beach; her siblings: Dorothy Byrd Robinson, George Byrd, and Ronald Byrd; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, two sisters-in-law, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A wake was held Friday, August 10, at the New Inlet Grove Community High School (Former Suncoast Community High School. A celebration of life began Saturday, August 11, at Inlet Grove, immediately followed by a repast in the school cafeteria.

A wake was held Friday, August 10, at the New Inlet Grove Community High School (Former Suncoast Community High School. A celebration of life began Saturday, August 11, at Inlet Grove, immediately followed by a repast in the school cafeteria.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 18, at St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church, 16345 SE River St., Blountstown. Sadie will be buried in Hugh Creek, Blountstown.
