Nola Lucille Pitts, 97, of Clarksville, Florida, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014, in Walker, Louisiana.
Lucille was born in Frink, Florida October 16, 1917, to the late George and Nolie (Dykes) Walden. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, O. E. Pitts; her son, Ronnie Pitts; daughter, Pansy C. Koepke; grandson, Tony Koepke; two brothers, Otis Walden and George “Boy Blue” Walden; and four sisters, Maybell Pumphery, Shirley Lucia, Ruth Varlin, and Annie B. Walden.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Karschner and her husband, William, of Gonzales, Louisiana, and Wanda Baker of Walker, Louisiana; grandchildren, Steve Koepke and his wife, Pam, Jay Koepke, Renee Odom, Lisa Hobby, Terri Watts, Leah Chifici, and Keith Karschner; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, in the Chapel at Adams Funeral Home. Services will follow at 10:00 a.m.. Interment will follow in Travelers Rest Cemetery in Clarksville.
