Daisy Louise Medley, 85, of Blountstown, Florida, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014, in Tallahassee, Florida.
Daisy was born in Bonifay, Florida, February 19, 1929, to the late J.D. and Lula Posey. She lived in Columbus, Georgia, most of her life where she worked as a caregiver and lived in Blountstown for the past two years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Blountstown.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, James and Samuel Russell.
Survivors include four sons, David Russell and his wife, Connie, of Esto, Florida, Daniel Russell and his wife, Marilyn, of Blountstown, Norman Russell of Esto, Florida, and Joey Register and his wife, Jennifer, of Fortson, Georgia; two daughters, Francis Berry of Columbus, Georgia, and Carolyn Fagan and her husband, Mark, of Guyton, Georgia; a brother, Aaron Jackson Sellers, of Bonifay; a sister, Dathene Sallas, of Bonifay; 39 grandchildren, 89 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren and one great- great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, from Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown with Reverend Francis Carlisle officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery near Clarksville, Florida. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, at the funeral home.

Gewin Walter “Bud” Flowers died peacefully at home and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, in Apalachicola, Florida at the age of 95.
Bud was born in Birmingham, Alabama, March 8, 1919, to the late Walter D. and Lillian Irene Garner Flowers.

Rolf Lenart Myrhammar, age 79, of Altha, Florida passed away, Sunday, November 2, 2014 in Tallahassee, Florida.
Rolf was born in Stockholm, Sweden, July 31, 1935. He moved to Altha in 1986, coming from West Palm Beach, Florida. Rolf served in the United States Army and was self-employed as a truck driver. He was an active fireman with Mossy Pond Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of Calhoun and Jackson County Fire Fighter Association.
Survivors include his son, Scott Burrell of Atlanta, Georgia; three daughters, Traci Burrell of Corpus Christi, Texas, Geraldine Myrhammar of Palm Springs, Florida and Deanna Grogg of Buckhannon, West Virginia; two brothers, Lenart Myrhammar and Jannus Myrhammar, both of Stockholm; and two sisters, Ann Marie and Gun, also of Stockholm.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 8, at Mossy Pond Volunteer Fire Department in Altha.

Mr. Larry Wayne Harris, 57, of Bristol, FL, made his way to be with the Lord on Monday morning, October 27, 2014, at his home in Bristol.
Larry was born on December 7, 1956, in Osceola County, FL, and had lived in Bristol all of his life. He was of the Baptist Faith. Larry worked 23 years for Liberty Post under Alvin Williams, who was his dearest friend and uncle. He loved spending time with his friends and family outdoors, spending as many nights as possible on his “boat house” and watching his Noles win, “cause that’s what they do.”
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jewel Dean Harris, and a brother, Joe Lindsey Harris.
Larry is survived by five sisters and one brother, JoAnn Sims and her husband, Mel, of Tallahassee, FL, Melissa Phinney and her husband, James, of Fountain, FL, Rachael Silcox and her husband, Wesley, of Blountstown, FL, Wade Harris and his wife, Ellen, of Fountain, FL, Gloria Smith and Jeff Uhrick of Bristol, and Sherleen Harris and Bruce Murray of Moody, AL; 20 nieces and nephews, along with a host of friends, family, and other relatives that loved him dearly.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 30, at 2:00 pm (EDT) at Lake Mystic Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Chumney officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Mystic Cemetery in Bristol. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 29, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm (EDT) at Peavy Funeral Home.
