Sara Elizabeth Young, 65, of Blountstown, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015, in Blountstown.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, May 13, 1950, Sara was the daughter of the late William Earl and Lila Mae (Newell) Whitus. She lived most of her life in Blountstown and was a certified nurse’s assistant.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brandy Lee Young, and a brother, Billy Whitus.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Lee “Round Man” Young, of Blountstown; two daughters, Carla Elizabeth Jones and her husband, Kenney, of Clarksville, and Marcia Kay Sewell and her husband, Reggie, of Altha; grandchildren, Brandy Roberson, Abbie Kay Edenfield, and Kelsey Blair Edenfield; one great-grandchild, Grace Elizabeth Mills; a sister, Kay Edwards, of Altha; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, September 7, at Adams Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 8, at Pine Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Michael Morris officiating. Interment will follow.

Mr. Robert Junior Anderson, 67, of Blountstown, FL, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015, in Panama City, FL.
Mr. Anderson was born on February 27, 1948, in Panama City to Charles Wade and Elsie Margaret (Collins) Anderson. Robert had lived in Blountstown most of his life and was a carpenter by trade. He served in the United States Army National Guard for 12 years. He was a member of Word of Truth in Blountstown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Wade and Elsie Margaret (Collins) Anderson; a daughter, Sherry Jean Anderson; and a grandchild, Morgen Anderson.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Vera Mae Anderson, of Blountstown; four sons, Robert Dale Anderson and his wife, Cathy, of Cullman, AL, Roger Dewayne Anderson, of Blountstown, Charles Leslie Anderson and his wife, Rachel, of Cullman, AL, and Derrick Wade Anderson and his wife, Carol Jean, of Altha, FL; five brothers, Gary Wade Anderson, Curtis Anderson, Timothy Anderson, all of Harden, MT, Mark Anderson of Panama City, and Joel Anderson of Neosho, MO; four sisters, Rhonda Burcham of Billings, MT, Becky Anderson and Denna Sellers, both of Harden MT, and Joanna Rios of Neosho, MO; and 11 grandchildren, Mathew Collins Anderson, Chelsea Danielle Anderson, Michael Dewayne Anderson, Ryan Dale Anderson, Bradley Wade Anderson, Zachary Thomas Anderson, Kaylin Marie Anderson, Ethan Charles Anderson, Abigail Jean Anderson, Trenton Lee Anderson, and Levi Brandon Anderson.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 1, at 7:00 PM (CDT) at Word of Truth with Pastor Ron Baker officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 1, at 6:00 PM until service time at 7:00 PM (CDT) at Word of Truth. Interment will be held on Wednesday, September 2, at 10:00 AM (CDT) at Magnolia Cemetery in Altha.
