The Marianna Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding an armed robber.
Today at approximately 4:30am, a black male wearing dark colored hoodie, dark colored pants, with his face concealed with some type rag or handkerchief, entered the Tom Thumb convenience store located at 3008A Jefferson St. and held the clerk at knife point, robbing the business, and taking an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect fled the scene, traveling south on Jefferson St. If anyone has any information concerning this robbery, please contact the Marianna Police Department at 850- 526-3125 or Crimestoppers 850-526-5000.
Richard Leon Campbell went home to be with our Lord on Friday, October 17, 2014.
Richard was born July 16, 1949, in Jonesboro, Georgia, to the late Frank and Allie Ruth (Singleton) Campbell. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and later made Bristol, Florida, his home in 1995 where he worked as an electrician. Richard was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, Eddie Campbell.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra (Davis) Campbell, of Bristol; three daughters, Christy Campbell of Georgia, Lori Brown and her husband, Mike, and Alissa Jones and her husband, Anthony, of Panama City, Florida; two step-daughters, Mendy Jones of Quincy, Florida, and Jamie Davis of Bristol; grandchildren, Ricki, Matthew, Lacey, and Sierra Campbell, Leda Thurman, Hannah Hobbs, Stephen, Jessica, and Sandra Miller, Stephanie Watson, Christopher Powell, Kayla Campbell, Antonio AntreVious, Anthony, Jr., and Aliyha Jones, and Jordan Davis; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Miller, Riley Campbell and Jasmine Houston; and a host of nieces and nephews; three brothers, Larry, Jerry, and Ray Campbell, all of Blountstown; four sisters, Margaret Danley, Carol Bartlett and her husband, Bill, all of Bristol, Linda Keith and her husband, David, and Gayle Godfrey, all of Georgia.
Memorialization will be by cremation.

Robert ‘Bob’ Lawrence Ballard, 81, of Crawfordville, Florida, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014, in Carrabelle, Florida.
Bob was born in Carrabelle, December 9, 1932, to the late Lawrence, Jr. and Aleen (Edwards) Ballard. He served in the United States Navy as Quarter Master Signal Man during the Korean Conflict. Bob lived in Crawfordville for 25 years and was a Calibration Inspector for Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for over 32 years. He was a 32nd Degree Mason in Masonic Star Lodge No. 78 in Largo, Florida, and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sons, Richard L. Ballard and Donald C. Ballard.
Survivors include his wife, Janet (Peterson) Ballard, and his daughter, Tina Sanders, and her husband, Bo, of Hosford, Florida; two granddaughters, April Joiner and Jennifer Bailey, both of Hosford.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 22, from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. ET at Sanders Cemetery in Hosford. Services will follow at 11:00 with Reverend Kyle Peddie officiating.

Mrs. Dorothy Jean (Dykes) Busher, 81, of Clarksville, FL, passed away Friday night, October 17, 2014, in Clarksville.
Dorothy was born on December 15, 1932, in Calhoun County and had lived in Clarksville since 1999, coming from Sacramento, CA. Dorothy was a retired homemaker and had also worked as a County Clerk for a judge in Panama City, FL. She was of the Protestant faith.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy Dykes and Eloise Virginia (Parrish) Dykes Phillips; husband, John Fredrick Busher; stepfather, Natzi Eisenberg Phillips; brother, James Carrell Dykes; sister, Eloise Phillips Belcher; grandson, Daren Miles Lafayette; nephews, Raymond Belcher and Alan Segers; niece, Patty Taylor; and brother-in-law, Herbert Ross.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Ann Busher Millican of Elk, WA, Mary Kathleen Busher and life partner, Christopher White, of Sacramento, CA, and Linda Ellen Busher and life partner, Lorie Whittaker, of Clarksville; two sisters, Bea Ross and Gail Segers, both of Clarksville; grandchildren, Dustin Tyler LaFayette and wife, Denelle, of Spokane, WA, Desiree Nichole LaFayette Walden and husband, Nathan, of Altha, FL, Matthew John Busher and wife. Kay Busher-Bouddavong. of Clarksville; great-granddaughter, Nikki Linn Busher, of Clarksville and a great-grandson to be born soon to Desiree and Nathan of Altha; sister-in-Law, Avis Dykes, of Clarksville; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life service was held Saturday, October 25, at 5:00 pm (CDT) at the home of Bea Ross, 12886 NE Phillips Road, Clarksville.
All arrangements were under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown (674-2266).
