Mrs. Gladys Carolyn Goodman Duggar, 75, passed away mid-afternoon on Thursday, February 12, 2015. She was in her home of 55 years in Bristol, FL, and was surrounded by loving family at the time of her passing.

J. Earle Bowden, 86, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015. He grew up in Altha, FL a small Calhoun County town, the son of grocery-store merchant Jesse Walden and Earlene Elizabeth Bowden.
Mr. Bowden attended Florida State University, where he studied journalism and wrote for the Florida Flambeau newspaper, before joining the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Gerald D. Bailey, 77, of Altha, FL, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015, at his home.
Gerald was born on March 14, 1937, in Pensacola, FL, and had lived in Calhoun County for most of his life. He was a barber and owned Bailey’s Barber Shop in East Point, GA, for a number of years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp serving during the Korean Conflict. Gerald was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Bailey; mother, Belle P. Bailey; brother, David Bailey; stepdaughter, Erica Grosvenor; two step grandchildren, Ethan and Codey Gresham; and son-in-law, Rae Babb.
Survivors include his son, Stephen Bailey, and his wife, Rosalyn, of Senoia, GA; daughters, Sherry Ann Chase and her husband, Berry, of Senoia, GA, and Annett Babb of Mason, TN; his wife of 28 years, Virginia Bailey, of Senoia, GA; 10 grandchildren, Robert Jr., Timothy, Christopher, Robin, Ryan, Michael, Ashley, Stephanie, Christopher and Courtney; and 10 great-grandchildren, AJ, Benjamin, Whitney, Michaela, Araea, Ryan Lukas, Isabelle, Brianna, Brennen and Eden.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 18, at 2:00 pm (CST) at Magnolia Baptist Church near Altha. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 17, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm (CST) at Peavy Funeral Home.
