Mrs. Shari L. Chew, 49, of Altha, FL, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010, in Blountstown, FL.
Shari was born on April 23, 1961, in Tallahassee, FL, and had lived in Altha for past nine years, coming from Avon Park, FL. Shari was employed with the Florida Department of Corrections working in personnel. She was of the Lutheran Faith.
Survivors include her mother, Eugenia (Jean) Hoke, of Altha; two sons, Gary Charles Chew and Caleb Russell Chew, both of Altha; and two brothers, David Hoke and Mark Hoke, both of Avon Park.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 15, at 2:00 pm (CDT) at the Altha Church of God in Altha, FL with Reverend Jim McIntosh officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation. The family requests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Altha School Athletic Department, 25793 N Main St. Altha, FL 32421.
