Benders Baseball players are asking for your support. The players of the 9-U Benders will be circulating your community asking for your monetary support as they prepare for the spring travel ball season.

The Benders travel baseball team was established in August of 2009. The team provides youth baseball players, nine years of age or younger, the opportunity to participate in competitive tournament environments. The team stresses: responsibility, endurance, determination, diligence, and enthusiasm. The team consists of players from Altha, Blountstown, Bristol, Marianna, and Tallahassee. The Benders participate in tournaments located in Dothan, Enterprise, Ozark, Donalsonville, Marianna, Panama City, and Tallahassee.
Your generous donation will help cover the cost of entry fees, uniforms, equipment, and baseballs which can add up quickly. The Benders will be holding a Hit-A-Thon on May 15th in Marianna, Florida. Team Members will be collecting pledges or donations for this event.

If you would like to become a business sponsor for the Benders, there is an opportunity for that also. There are 4 levels of sponsorship. $25-150, $200, $500 or $1000. Your sponsorship will get your name or business on a plaque, dugout banner, or even the back of the player’s jersey! That would be a great cost effective way to advertise over a large area.…with your sponsorship we are both winners.

Remember, we are a non-profit organization. That means that your pledges or donations may be tax-deductible. If you would like to make a donation, pledge or become a sponsor please contact Frank King at 850-209-2647 or Mike VanHuss at 850-209-3514. On behalf of the players and coaches, we appreciate any donation, pledge, and sponsorship as you support the youth of your community.
Also, if you will be 11 years old by May 1st and would be interested in playing travel ball in the fall contact Frank King at the above number.
