STATE CHAMPS! Ag Communications Team
FFA teams win at state
Recently, the Blountstown FFA Chapter traveled down south to participate in state level competitions.
The Ag Communications team placed first in the state. This team consisted of Kara Bremer, Hayden Jeppson, Kate McFarland, Trent Smith and Caitlyn Stewart. Kara Bremer was the high individual, Hayden Jeppson and Caitlyn Stewart tied for third high individual, and Trent Smith was the fourth high individual.
The Farm Business Management team also won first in the state. This team consisted of Stewart Herndon, Harlea Perdue and Travis Pittman. Harlea Perdue was the high individual and Travis Pittman was the third high individual.
The Ag Mechanics team consisting of Aaron Daniels, Seth Scheurmann, Aubrey Tharpe and Blake Tolley, placed fourth in the state. Aaron Daniels placed fourth individually. They will be recognized at the state convention in June. The two first place teams will travel to Indianapolis and compete at nationals in October.
