Mr. Coy Mullins, 84, of Blountstown, FL, passed away Monday night, April 19, 2010, in Panama City, FL.
Coy was born on June 26, 1925 in McCollough, AL and had lived in Calhoun County since 1948. He a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Army. He was a retired Logger and a member of the Abe Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Mr. Mullins was preceded in death by a son and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Elma Mullins of Blountstown; three sons, Ricky Mullins and Ferrell Mullins and partner, Jane Grantham, all of Blountstown, Darrell Mullins and his wife, Desree, of Scotts Ferry; two daughters, Sybil Brown and her husband, Kendall, of Scotts Ferry; Janice Goodwin and partner, Dennis Youngs, of Altha; one brother, Riley Mullins, and his wife, Mary, of Century, FL; one sister, Malzie Greggs, of Atmore, AL; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 22, at 2:00 pm (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Michael Morris officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Memorial Cemetery in Blountstown. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 21, from 6:00 pm (CDT) until 8:00 pm (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home.
