NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, pursuant to Plaintiff’s Final Summary Judgment Of Foreclosure entered in the above-captioned action, I will sell the property situated in Calhoun County, Florida, described as follows to wit:

From said Point of Beginning; thence continue South 01 degrees 08 minutes 00 seconds West along said Easterly boundary a distance of 100.00 feet; thence North 89 degrees 31 minutes 27 seconds West 742.32 feet to the Chipola River; thence Northwesterly along said river 105 feet more or less to a point North 17 degrees 12 minutes 56 seconds West 104.96 feet from the aforesaid point; thence south 89 degrees 31 minutes 27 seconds East 775.36 feet to the Point of Beginning

Commence at a 4 inch square concrete monument marking the Northeast corner of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 5, Township 1 North, Range 9 West, Calhoun County, Florida and run thence South 01 degrees 08 minutes 00 seconds West along the easterly boundary of said Southwest quarter of the northwest quarter a distance of 525.10 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. From said Point of Beginning; thence continue South 01 degrees 08 minutes 00 seconds West along said Easterly boundary a distance of 100.00 feet; thence North 89 degrees 31 minutes 27 seconds West 729.69 feet to the Chipola River; thence Northwesterly along said river 101 feet more or less to a point north 056 degrees 04 minutes 19 seconds West 100.65 feet from the aforesaid point; thence South 89 degrees 31 minutes 27 seconds East 742.32 feet to the Point of Beginning.

at public sale, to the highest and best bidder, for cash except as set herein after, at public sale on January 14, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. (Central Standard Time), or as soon there after as the sale may proceed, to the highest bidder for cash, at the front steps, Calhoun County Courthouse, 20859 Central Avenue East, Blountstown, Florida 32424, Calhoun County, Florida.

If you are a subordinate lien holder claiming a right to funds remaining after the sale, you must file a claim with the Clerk of Court no later than 60 days after the sale. If you fail to file a claim, you will not be entitled to any remaining funds.

BID NOTICE
STATE HOUSING INITAITIVES
“SHIP PROGRAM”

The Calhoun Board of County Commissioners will accept sealed bids on behalf of its State Housing Initiatives Partnership “SHIP” Program for the rehab of houses until 12:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Bids may be delivered to the Clerk’s Office in the Calhoun County Courthouse, Blountstown, Florida 32424. Bids must arrive before deadline. Bids will be opened on January 19, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. or as soon afterwards as possible. Bids must be sealed in an envelope marked “sealed bid for ship rehab” and identified by the name of the firm, and the date and time of the bid opening.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. local time in room 117 in the Calhoun County Building Department located on the 1st floor of the Calhoun County Courthouse. Bid sheets and specifications will be available at the meeting. It is the responsibility of the contractor to purchase all permits deemed necessary. Bidders must provide proof of general liability and workman’s compensation insurance in the bid package. The insurance must be in force at the time of the bid opening. As an alternative to providing workman’s compensation insurance, the prospective bidder shall provide proof of worker’s compensation exemption. Any person claiming to be exempt shall be subject to an on-the-job inspection for proof of exemption and license of all workers on job site.

Minority contractors are encouraged to participate. Calhoun County is an equal opportunity jurisdiction. The Calhoun County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality. The signing of the contract is contingent upon the approval of and/or release of funds by the Florida housing finance agency.

IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Ordinance No. 2009-04 of the City of Blountstown. AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BLOUNTSTOWN CITY, AMENDING SECTION II-37 ENTITLED “COMPENSATION”; REPEALING CONFLICTING RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

SHALL BE PRESENTED to the City Council, City of Blountstown, for second and final adoption at the Regular City Council Meeting to be held Tuesday, the 12th day of January 2010 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Meeting Room at 17262 NW Angle Street, Blountstown, FL 32424.
This ordinance shall become effective upon final passage as provided by law.

ALL INTERESTED PERSONS desiring to be heard on the adoption of the aforesaid Ordinance No. 2009-04 are cordially invited to be in attendance at this meeting.
