A Culinary Christmas

Delicious aromas drifted from the kitchen as the culinary classes of Altha School worked on their gingerbread projects. They had the choice of making a gingerbread Christmas tree individually, or making a gingerbread house with a partner.

First place in the gingerbread house division went to Emily Brooks and Rebekah Wiltse’s house. Their theme was “Mrs. Claus’ Boutique”. Second place was awarded to “Ms. Frosty’s Wonderland” by Kayla Hires and Ashley Simco. Amy Tharp, Sylvia Barton, and Meagan Branch placed third with the “Ice Cream Shoppe”, and Chelsea DeBerry and Cessna Folsom placed fourth with “Shrek’s Christmas”.

First place in the Christmas tree division was won by Tyler Foster with his “Ginger Tree”. Second place went to Brett Floyd with a “Snowy Christmas”. Ansley Stone’s “Candy Christmas” placed third.
